Inside one month
Every month is built around one idea, taught properly, then applied to a demo practice, then handed to you as something you can send. Here is what August looked like, including one part in full so you can judge the writing before you decide anything.
The module
Six parts. About forty minutes to read, and an hour to do.
Part 2, in full
Here is the part most marketing advice misses. A referral is not just cheaper growth. It brings people already aligned with how you practice. Physicians describe loving word of mouth specifically because of who it brings: the patients it sends are like the patients they already have. The logic repeats in different words across the podcast. I like my patients, and when they send me their friends, I know those friends will be the same kind of people, so it is going to be a good fit.
Think about what that means. The patient who refers you is screening for you. They are sending people who already share the values that made them happy in your practice. Word of mouth is self-selecting: it reproduces the culture of your practice with every referral. An ad reaches strangers who have to be convinced. A referral arrives half-convinced and already the right kind of person.
There is even a shape to how it travels. Physicians describe referrals radiating outward from each happy patient through their tightest circles first: a spouse joins, then other family, then coworkers and neighbors. That is worth knowing, because it tells you where to make joining easy. Household and family membership options meet word of mouth the way it naturally moves, closest relationships first.
That is one part of six, unedited. The other five are the same length and the same register.
What else landed in August
Word of mouth is something you earn and then make easy, so August needed the teaching and the doing in the same month.
The Bluebonnet companion.
Our demo practice does the whole month in its own voice. How Dr. Reyes asks a happy family for a review, where she points it, and the short list of local moves she is working through in her first year in Austin. Finished work rather than blanks, so you can see what good looks like before you write your own.
The back-to-school kit.
Ready posts and newsletter copy for the season, in two versions, one for practices already open and one for physicians still pre-launch. Canva templates to duplicate and rebrand.
The prompt.
It interviews you about your practice and your town, then writes your review asks and a local plan in your own words rather than a template. Members build a voice profile in their first week, and every prompt after that uses it.
Every month
July was the website a stranger lands on. August was what happens after they stay. September picks up from there. Nothing expires, and the archive is yours while you are a member.
Founding annual is $290 for the first 20 members, with the Marketing Without the Ick course included. Standard monthly is $39, cancel anytime.
